Professor Hartung is the Chairman of Department of Neurology at the Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf in Germany. He worked on the basics of multiple sclerosis for 30 years and involved in the planning and coordination of international clinical trials.
Professor Hartung is a former president of the International Society for Multiple Sclerosis Research – ECTRIMS and serves as a board member in both public and private companies. Professor Hartung has published more than 800 peer-reviewed articles, 100 Book chapters and 9 books.
